Oversize transport
Oversize transport is the special domestic or international transport of goods whose dimensions exceed the legally designated limit indicated in the operating regulations for roadways in individual countries. This type of transport is normally subject to authorization in the individual countries of transport. A specialized team is devoted to this type of transport at our company, able to take care of all the transport requirements, so that your demands are satisfactorily met. An accompanying vehicle must often be arranged, often with a police escort, as well. Our company has escort vehicles available which fulfill the regulatory requirements. This type of transport is, of course, carried out by a driver team with many years’ experience.
All vehicles are equipped with communications technology, including radio connection, safety markings, lights and reflective slighter boards, along with other safety equipment.
Trailer assemblies for oversize transport are also equipped with an adequate number of anchors and locks to ensure that oversized cargoes are adequately secured. Some of these vehicles have permanent permits for special use of roadways to transport especially heavy or large items within the Czech Republic and Germany, along with special technologies such as HANGLER trailers , which also have permits under Arts. 70 and 29 of the German Highway Code for semitrailers and the SCHEDA TECNICA for operations in Italy. These trailers may be expanded to 6000 mm. Heightened limits for liability insurance are also met for the operation of vehicles in Germany in the amount of €25.56 million.
All of these conditions serve to allow for the transport of oversize loads up to 21,000 mm in length, 3800 mm in width and 44 tons.
